My husband and I have settled on the Washington coast in Chinook, a fishing village on the Columbia River. Chinook Valley Farm is just a few hours from Seattle or Portland. Chinook Valley Farm is nestled against the Bear River Mountain Range. It serenely sits on 30 acres of gentle hills and pastureland. The Woodworth Method of Obedience Training is a program intent on helping the dog develop a sense of purpose in life and a job to do, one that helps him feel worthwhile.

Cero Dos was bred and raised in this magical place, and loves to explore the woods and sand dune trails, with me. Our Australian Shepherd Missy joins us; she is on “Bear Patrol” and the jingle of her belled collar lets the animals know we are coming into their home.

Chinook Valley Farm is nestled at the base of the Willapa Mountain Range on the Northcoast, minuets from the Pacific Ocean. Our horses are raised in the Pacific Northwest, and the sometimes wet and wild winter storms that hammer the coast line. We have moments of unbelievable beauty when the sun blesses us with her bright light. The Pacific beaches and logging roads into the Bear River Hills give us the perfect place to ride our Peruvian Horses.
